I'm 25 weeks today, only 105 days to go! I can't wait to meet this little guy that kicks me all the time. I figured that I should post all the the weekly pictures I have taken. There are some weeks missing, but most of them are there.

Baby Lovett!
So it's only taken me almost 25 weeks to post about the baby boy who is coming in May. I will back track to where it all began. September 17th, 2011 I took a test, while my parents were visiting us. I had planned on waiting till I was 8 weeks to tell anyone in the family, but since my parents were visiting, I thought it was the best thing to tell them in person. Of course my mom and dad were very excited. That Monday I called the OB to set up my first appointment. They wouldn't see me until I was 8 weeks, so I had to wait a month to be seen. The week of my birthday I started to experience all day sickness. The sickness continued until the Sunday before Christmas,so from 6 weeks until 17 weeks. During that time everyone said it's all worth it in the end, and you will forget about all of the sickness. I will never forget how sick I was, but I do know it's all worth it in the end.
I got to have a ultrasound at 8 weeks, to confirm that everything was going the right way. It was awesome to hear the heartbeat and see the little blob of a baby. At 20 weeks Joshua and I went in for the "big" ultrasound. We were not going to find out the sex of the baby, we wanted the doctors office to call our bakery in Atlanta and tell them the sex so we could find out with our families. For some reason the doctors office would not call the bakery for us, so we decided to find out and just keep it a secret from the family. Keeping it a secret from Tuesday till Saturday was very hard, but I accomplished it. We did a gender reveal cake, so everyone found out at the same time. The whole family was very excited to find out that we are having a little boy! James Hamilton Lovett is set to arrive May 30th!
Just shy of 21 weeks we had a small ice storm here, and I slipped and busted my butt. I think I broke my tail bone, and was in horrible pain for weeks. It's been almost a month and I still am in pain, and can't sit for very long. The doctors weren't concerned about the baby, since I felt him moving after my fall. I went to the doctor for my 24 week check up and his heart beat was strong. I had to have the glucose test, and I passed it! I was concerned that I would fail, so I was very relieved when I passed.
Well that brings us to current time in the pregnancy. Lets hope that I can start doing the weekly updates this week. I will also post pictures of the previous weeks and the 20 week ultrasound.

Just a little update
So my first week of working for Chase is behind me. I really think I am going to like being a teller. Last week I mostly was just doing online training. That got to be pretty boring, but once I was done with it I got to watch the other tellers run transactions for customers, and actually help with some. It's a pretty fast paced job, which will be nice. This week I only work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have to drive up to Middletown, OH for teller training. It's over an hour away from our house, so it's gonna be a long 3 days.
Joshua and I have been incredible lazy this weekend. There is so much I could be doing around the apartment, but I just want to be a bum! Although today I did clean the carpet in our bedroom. Not something I wanted to do, but Sadie (the dog) decided to poop on the carpet during the night, and smeared in it. I went out and bought a carpet cleaner. It was amazing to see how dirty the carpet was, and we have only lived here for 6 months. I will be cleaning the spare bedroom carpet later, cause the cat has thrown up in there many times and it stained the carpet. Then I will work on the living room, cause both animals have thrown up in there. I really hope that the carpet will stay clean for a few months after I get done cleaning it all. But it's not likely with our animals in the house. Oh well, I love them even though they are messy.
I know my posts are boring, and I'm not even sure anyone reads them. But it's fun to write about what goes on in the Lovett house.

Another Vent
So Joshua and I decided to join a gym. Yea we both need to lose weight, but I'm not trying to lose it quickly. I made the mistake of putting it on facebook that we are working out. Now people are questioning why I choose to cook certain things for dinner. Really? Did I ask your opinion on what I decided to cook for dinner? I get it that friends want to help out, but I don't need to be questioned. I'm a grown woman and will cook what ever I want to! I appreciate people wanting to give their input, but sometimes it's not necessary.
Ok I'm done venting now.

Venting For a Moment
Something that has always bothered me is the way some ladies dress after they have kids. I don't have a problem with mothers dressing in trendy clothes, and being stylish. But I do not like seeing mothers wearing shorty shorts that barely cover their butt cheeks, shirts that are too tight, or low cut, or dresses that are too short. What kind of image does that give a little girl? Does it teach them to dress modestly?
I'm not super conservative when it comes to dressing, but I do believe that after you have children you should start dressing like a mature person, not a teenager. I know that there are people who will not agree with me, and that's fine.
Ok I'm done venting for now!

Job
I have been looking for a job since moving to KY in Feb. I took a position with Aflac, but it wasn't bringing in any money. So I continued my search for something with regular pay. I finally got offered a part time job with Chase. I will be a teller starting July 25th. I am excited about working again, and actually having somewhere to go. It has been nice to sit at home, but it sure is lonely. If we had kids I would not want to be working, but we don't have any yet. So I must work! Hopefully I will love the job!

July 4th
Once again I do not have any pictures. I'm just horrible with the camera these days.
Joshua and I were invited to go to Ft. Knox to spend the day with a friend I met through my mom. Even though it takes over 2 hours to get there, I decided it would be a fun thing. Since I knew we couldn't stay for the fireworks I convinced Joshua that we should buy our own to shoot of Sunday night. We did buy some, and it was fun to shoot them off. I then made the dumb decision to drive around, cause there were fireworks being shot off all around us. I had no idea that the city we live in was doing their celebration Sunday night. We got stuck in horrible traffic.
Monday morning I got up at 7 to watch the Peachtree Road Race on the internet, I was hoping to see my brother and sister in law, but 11alive cut their coverage at 9. Joshua and I got on the road about 10:30 to head to Ft. Knox. It is such a pretty post, with lots of old houses and buildings. We went to our friends house, Karla and John, and then headed out with them to the little carnival that was set up. The rides were mostly for kids, but we did get on the Berry Go Round with Karla and her two girls. There was a live band, who was pretty good. It was so hot and muggy out, we didn't stay there too long. We decided to drive around and see everything on post. They are building some really nice houses there. We went to the PX and did a little shopping. We went back to Karla and John's house and had a cook out. The burgers that John made were HUGE and so yummy. We also played some skip bo. Joshua and I lost both games. We got on the road around 8:30 to head home. The fireworks didn't start until 10:15, and since Joshua had to work this morning I knew we needed to head home. I did get to see some fireworks while driving.
We enjoyed the day, and Joshua got to talk military with John. Maybe we will be an Army family soon!
